My Purple Ombre Rose Cake

I baked this cake for a 13 year old girl who graduated 8th grade. I was inspired by a youtube video I saw of LorisBakery and completely fell in love.  I was actually going to change it up a bit and convert it  into a teal color cake, but when it all came down to it I decided to stick to the purple. This was a two tier pineapple flavored cake. I made my mother's recipe for it which including a very delicious coconut cream with crushed pineapple filing. All in all, this cake was a hit to everyone in the party! I look forward to making another one soon and maybe play around more with different colors !
